# Transaction Flow

For [Authorization](/apis/payments-platform-rest/openapi/transactions/transactionsauthorization) and [Sale/Purchase](/apis/payments-platform-rest/openapi/transactions/transactionssale) transactions, the diagram below outlines the transaction flow. For other types of requests, the HTTP response code and the `error` object can be checked to see if the transaction was processed successfully.
